Summer Camp
Week: July 18th to July 22nd, 2016
🔠What are we learning?
Dear Mariquitas Parents,
This week we will learn to be little scientists and we will discuss about the aquatic animals. We will continue creating safe learning environments that offer the children the opportunity to explore and experiment with science. There will be as always exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as playing with homemade playdough and colored water.
Thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.
Best Regards,
Miss Paula
📄 Materials for Special Activities
- Bring flour to make playdough on Monday.
- Bring your favorite aquatic animal toy if you have one at home on Monday.
🔆 Friendly Reminders
- Check your child’s cubby and make sure to bring extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather as well as extra diapers, wipes and diaper rash ointment/cream.
- Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
⭐ Star Words of the Week
