🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Mariquitas Parents,

This week we will learn about celebrations and traditions.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills such as:

• Take and place toys from a container.
• Participate in art projects for the art fair.
• Play with balls by rolling them in different directions.
• Bubble and Puppet Time.
• Jump over different shaped objects.

🔆 Friendly Reminders

• Wear shoe covers and wash your hands and your child hands when entering your child’s classroom.
• Knock before entering the classroom to make sure there is no one behind the door
• Wash your hands and your child’s hands once you enter the classroom.
• Always make sure that your child has extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather in his/her cubby and label it with your child’s name
• Bring diapers, wipes and rash ointment and label them with your child’s name.
• Bring your child’s bottles labeled with your child’s name and date.
• Read, review and fill out your child’s journal with information for the teacher and make sure to add last change of diaper and time of your child’s last meal.
• Fill out information in the journal.

• Art Fair will take place from December 5th through December 9th, 2016.
• Holiday Party, December 15th, 4:00 pm.

Dear Mariquitas Parents,

This week we will continue learning about our community places such as the schools, the parks, hospitals, the supermarkets, etc.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme in order to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills such as:

⦁ Play with paper.
⦁ Move arms up and down.
⦁ Play with a baby doll so they can sing to sleep.
⦁ Enjoy puppet and bubble time.

Week: November 7^th to November 11^th, 2016.

🔠 What are we learning?

Dear Mariquitas Parents,

This week we will continue learning about our community and the environment where we live as well as public and private institutions of our city. Children will start exploring and discovering the places where our community helpers work. Children will enjoy the firefighter’s visit on Monday, November 7^th.

We have scheduled learning activities related to this theme in order to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio, emotional skills such as:

·         Participate in a dramatic play related to clowns.

·         Review flashcards related to our weekly theme.

·         Play with balls by rolling them in different directions.

·         Do scribbles.

·         Doing art projects with brushes.

·         Play with playdough and create beautiful and different shaped figures.
