" Celebrando el Día de la Independencia/Celebrate Independents Day "

Dear Buhitos parents:

I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend!

The theme for this week will be " Celebrate Independents Day / Celebrando el dia de la Independencia".

We have some fun educational activities planned fro this theme. 

Vocabulary:

Los estados / The states

El águila / The eagle

Frutas /Fruits

Hormigas / Ants

Rojo / Red

Azul / Blue

Blanco / White

Special activities:

Monday: We will make some festive headbands. We also have Splash!

Tuesday: We will have cooking class and we will make some jello. We also have our dance class, please bring in your daughters skirts.

Wednesday: Its crazy hair day! 

Thursday: Please come dressed for our Independents day parade. Red, White and Blue.. We also have Splash!

Friday: We will be close.

Important dates:

On Friday July 4TH the center will be close

Announcements:

Olivia is no longer in our class. She has transferred to the Glendwood location. We will truly miss her, but she is still part of the Sff! familia.

We want to wish the best to Ms. Fanny, because she is leaving from Spanish for fun! because she will stay at home and have her own projects.  She will stay working with us, as a substitute teacher.  And from Monday, Ms. Patricia that has been working with us already, has been transferred to Buhitos, as Assistant Teacher.  We want to welcome to Ms. Patricia!

" We are Going Camping / Nos Vamos de Campamento"

Dear Buhitos parents,

I hope you are all enjoying the beginning of your summer. We are having a blast!

This weeks theme will be " We are going camping / Nos vamos de capamento" . We have so many fun activities plan for this week theme.

Vocabulary:

La carpa / The tent

La linterna / Flashlight

La mochila / Backpack

Dormir / Sleep

Los insectos / The insects

Special day for this week:

Mondays and Thursdays are our splash day. Please bring your child ready to get wet. Our splash time is at 9:10 am.

Wednesday,  we will have a picnic. I will post outside of our classroom a list of yummy items that the Buhitos like, and you could sign up to bring one. Also, if they have a sleeping bag please bring it in. Thank you!

Thursday, is pajamas Day. Bring your child in their comfy pj's. 

Classroom updates:

Kathleen is standing on her own, and she is about to start walking. Way to go Kathleen soon she will be walking and running with her friends Amelia, Betsy and Olivia.. Watch out girls she is coming to play. 

Reminders:

· Make sure your child has extra clothes in their cubby and please label all of your child

  items.

· The weather is getting Hot. Please make sure your child has weather appropriate extra clothes   in their cubby.

· Make sure your child has a blanket for nap time

· Please wash your child's hands when arriving in the morning.

"Summer is here / El Verano Llego"

Dear Buhitos Parents,

Summer camp is here!! Yay...

We are starting of our summer camp with the theme " Summer is here / El verano llego". W ewill be having so much fun with this theme!

Vocabulary:

Recoger / pick up

Special events for summer:

Every Monday and Thursday is our splash day at 9:10 am. If you could please bring your child on their swimsuit, water shoes and sunblock on for those day. 

Tuesday June 17 is sunglasses day. Please bring a pair of Sunglasses!

Wednesday 18 is hat day. Please bring a hat!

On Friday the June  20 we will have a fun luau so bring your child dress for a luau! 

Reminders:

•        Please read your child journal daily.

·         Make sure your child has extra clothed in their cubby and please label all of your child  items.

·         If your child does not have sun block please send it in. Remember to fill out the authorization form so we could apply it. 

·         Please wash your child's hand when arriving in the morning.

·           Make sure your child has a blanket for nap time.

" Let's get active / Hay que ponernos activos". - Second week

 Dear Buhitos parents:

This week we will continue to travel thru the journey " Let's get active / Hay que ponernos activos" . We are having a blast in this journey! We are still working on our gross motors skills and exercising our little’s bodies. This week we are going to be dancing a lot.

Upcoming journeys:

June 13 is the last day of school. We will close at 12:30pm, and we will celebrate Dad at 10:00am.

Special announcements:

-  I can’t believe this school year is ending already! We’ve had a wonderful year full of love, laughter, new experiences, learning and become a family. I’m so proud of each and every Buhito that I’ve had this school. They are all amazing in my eye. It’s been my pleasure working with all of them and they all bring so much joy to me. Have a wonderful summer!

-  Please, bring your child wearing Green t-shirt on Friday.
