"Princesses and Knights Week"- Semana de Princesas y Caballeros

Dear Buhitos parents,

I can't believe that summer camp will be ending in 2 weeks. Time really flies by when you are having fun!

This week theme will be “Princesses and Gentleman”. This is perfect for us!  We will have royal tea parties, make crowns, read about different princesses, and make a castle from recycle material, pretend to ride out of the castle in a horse and carriage and so much more. It going to be a magical week and we are going to enjoy every royal minute of it! 

Vocabulary:

Dormido / Sleeping

Activities:

Monday and Thursday is our splash days!

Tuesday and Friday please bring in your princess gown for our tea party and royal parade.

Week 6: July 21-25 "Dinosaurs"- "Los Dinosaurios"

Dear Buhitos parents,

I hope you are all enjoying your summer. We are having a blast at our summer camp!

The theme for this week will be "Dinosaurs" fun, fun, fun....  We will be taking about dinosaurs and learn about them. We will be doing some sensory exploration by working with different textures to create a dinosaur and digging in sand to find dinosaurs eggs. Thursday we will have a visit from the Dinosaurs. Exciting!!

"The Zoo - El Zoológico"

Dear Parents:

We had a very active week, and the Buhitos enjoyed a lot! Now we are going to have an exciting week talking and learning about the Zoo!!! Buhitos are going to be in a magical Zoo World.

This week our summer camp theme will be “Las Olimpiadas de SFF! / Sff! Olympic Games”.  We are going to be moving and grooving. Can wait for the fun to begin!

Reminders:

·         Monday and Thursdays are our splash day. Please bring your child ready to get wet. Our splash time is at 9:10 am.

·         Make sure your child has extra clothed in their cubby and please label all of your child items.

·          The weather is Hot. Please make sure your child has weather        appropriate extra clothe   in their cubby.

·         Make sure your child has a blanket for nap time

·         Please wash your child's hand when arriving in the morning.
