“Como funcionan las cosas”

Dear Parents,
During this week will be working on the theme: “How Things Work.”  We will work on our gross and fine motor skills by drawing lines and circles do with crayon and workng out in the gym.  Also, we will play together to spin the ball and find toys of different textures and sounds in our toy box.
We welcome our new friends Stela and Lucas. Welcome to the Mariquitas classroom!

The children in Mariquitas class will enjoy singing the song Como funcionan las cosas. Parents, please encourage your child to listen to this song at home too. It can be found on our Sff! CD.

Viajó y me comunico por mi ciudad

Dear Parents,

This week will continue with the theme: “Viajo y me comunico por mi ciudad.”
We’ll pretend to ride in a car and use the light to signal stop and go. We’ll also play with bottles of colorful confetti and pompoms. We’ll also go to the gym to exercise with upbeat music and we’ll pretend to drive there through the tunnels with cars. We will use paper to decorate and fill in a picture of a car.
We had lots of fun.

Dear Parents,
This week we will be working our theme: 'viajo y me comunico por mi ciudad.' We’ll pretend that we work in a machine shop working to help develop our gross and fine motor skills. We’ll have a puppet show about Martin Luther King. We’ll visit our friend ladybug to talk about mass media and we will also be going on roads with obstacles.
