Parts of my body/ Partes de mi Cuerpo

Classroom: Mariquitas

Blog Title: My Body and Me

Weekly Feature Theme: Parts of my body

Week: August 28th, 2017 to September 1st, 2017

What we are learning?
Dear Parents,

We hope you are having a beautiful week. New month calls always for a new theme “My Body and Me”. This week we will learn the parts of my body. Children express themselves in different ways through their bodies. Therefore, it is important for them to explore and discover their external and visible parts of their bodies by participating in fun activities related to this theme.

Each one of these activities will help to continue strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills. Children will make movements with the bodies and also will try to imitate and see the expressions of their faces. They will also play with the ula ula and try to jump. We will be also walking in different directions while listening to the drum beats.

Thank you for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life and we hope you have a great weekend.
