"Let's get active / Hay que ponernos activos."

Dear Buhitos parents:

Summer is just around the corner!

This week we will travel thru the journey " Let's get active /  Hay que ponernos activos."  We will be working on our gross motors skills and exercising our littles bodies. Fun Fun Fun!

Vocabulary:

• La pelota - Ball

• Saludable - Healthy

Special announcements:

•     Gabriel has moved up to the Monitors class. We will miss him a lot!!
•     Jovani is transitioning to the Monitors class. He will join Gabriel next week. We will miss him also!

 Reminders:

• Please read your child journal daily.
• Make sure your child has extra clothes in their cubby and please label all of your child´s  items.
• The weather is getting hot.  Please make sure your child has weather appropriate extra clothes in their cubby.
• Make sure your child has a blanket for nap time.
• Please wash your child's hands when arriving in the morning.

"How things work” – “Como funcionan las cosas." Science Fair.

Dear Buhitos parents,

I hope you all enjoyed this holiday weekend! This week will continue on the same journey  "How things work” – “Como funcionan las cosas." 

We have been having a lot of fun going through this journey. They are so curious and love to see what new things do. it's so much fun to see their faces when they have discover something new.

We will have the same vocabulary as last week.

"How things work” – “Como funcionan las cosas."

 Dear Buhitos parents,

I hope you all enjoyed this beautiful weekend. This week will take a journey on  "How things work” – “Como funcionan las cosas."

This should be a fun theme for our Buhitos and Abejitas. They are in a stage of trying to be really independent and learning how to do things on their own.

Olivia Lechevallier is turning 2!! Feliz cumpleaños princesa Olivia…

How we grow

Dear Buhitos parent,

Summer is just around the corner!

I hope you all have are enjoying this beautiful weather!   This week we continue on the same  journey  “How we grow” – “Como crecemos.”  We have been having a blast exploring this journey. This week we will concentrate on food. We need food and to grow. We will eating some fruits and veggies. The Buhitos are going to love this!

Words of the week:

·                     Fruta - Fruit

·                     El niño - Boy

·                     Vegetal - Vegetable

·                     Comida - Food

·                     crecer - Grow

Please practice these words at home with your child.
