"El Circo" / "The Circus "

Dear Mariquitas parents,

I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to start this week with lots of energy! This week we will begin our new and final theme for this summer camp: "El Circo/ The Circus.

Special Activities:

Monday:  Imitate the movements of animals at the circus.

Wednesday: Face Painting.

Thursday: We will create paper balls to juggle.

Friday: We will pretend to be at the Circus with clowns, wild animals, and lots of laughter!

These activities will be a lot of fun!

"Los Dinosaurios" / "The Dinosaurus"

Dear Mariquitas Parents:

I hope you had a great week.  This week the Mariquitas will explore our theme: “The Dinosaurs / Los Dinosaurios .” This week we will explore the dinosaur's bones, and read some books about them.

Special Activities:

    Monday: Children can bring their favorite dinosaurs.

    Tuesday: We will make a Dinosaur finger painting.

    Thursday: In our cooking class, we will make a Dinosaur Jello.

"El Zoológico" / "El Zoo"

I hope you had a wonderful week. Our goal this week is for our Mariquitas to learn different concepts about this week’s interesting theme: "El Zoológico" - "The Zoo". We are going to learn a lot in a happy and fun environment.

Special Activities:

Monday: Our Mariquitas can bring their favorite stuffed animals.

Tuesday: Splash day, we will take a bath with our wild animals.

Wednesday: We will catch bubbles!

Thursday: We will pretend to feed our zoo animals.

Friday: Festival of mask and hats.

Reminder:

Please, check your child's cubby every day and bring extra clothes.

Please, bring wipes and diapers.

Check your child’s journal every day.

Remember: Tuesday and Wednesday are Splash Day.

Graduating:

We are going to miss our little girls, Kathleen and Raina!!! As of Monday, they are becoming Monitos.

"The Aquatic World" / "El Mundo Acuatico"

Dear Mariquitas Parents:

I hope you had a fun weekend, full of energy and happiness!!!!!!

Last week was very educational for our Mariquitas, they learned a lot about the how we celebrate Independence Day. This week we will continue learning about our new theme "The Aquatic World", and expand the Mariquitas knowledge to include some books and pictures of aquatic animals'.

*This week we are going to listen different songs of animals like los pecesitos/ the fishes, also this week we will read stories about animals, please bring animal books to share with the class and if your schedule permits please help us reading the book in the class. Gracias! - Todos son Bienvenidos!We will also make animals arts and crafts.
