 “Como funcionan las cosas”

Dear Parents,

Our theme this week is “How Things Work.” We’ll create machines out of boxes and make phones using plastic cups. We’ll also fill a silhouette of a robot using paper. We are also celebrating Valentine’s Day by creating cards and we capture de children hand.

This will be a very nice week. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Song of the Week

The children in Mariquitas class enjoyed singing the song “Como funcionan las cosas”. Parents, please encourage your child to listen to this song at home too. It can be found on our Sff! CD.

Star Word of the Week

Reminders:

• Please bring me family photos and one photo of the child.
• Please bring extra clothes appropriate for the weather.
• Please bring diapers and wipes, and a blanket. It will be sent home on Fridays to be washed.
• Please review your child’s journal every day.
