Mi comunidad y yo

Dear Parents,

During this week the theme we will be working on is “Mi comunidad y yo” (My Community and Me).

Our goal this week is for children to learn about the different people that help to make our community great.

We will build an ambulance with a box and will pretend to be nurses.

We will also imagine that we are driving a bus, dance to the rhythm of merengue (the typical music of Dominican Republic), and continue to work on the gross and fine motor.

Please, bring me family photos and one photo  of your child.

Please, bring extra clothes that are appropriate for the weather.

Please, bring diapers and wipes, and a blanket. Blankets will be sent home

on Fridays to be washed.

Please, review your child’s journal every day.
