"Mi Cultura y Tradiciones"

Dear Mariquitas parents:

I hope you had beatiful weekend. This week our Mariquitas will learn about My Culture and Traditions / Mi  Cultura y Tradiciones, This topic is very important to incorporate traditions from their childhood,  Our children can have a identity, offer comfort and security, teach values, add to the rhythm and seasonality of life, and connect  generations.

Special Activities:
This week is our Mariquitas will learn about diversity.  We will paint an earth and our different skin colors. Also, we will read a book called My Beautiful Dark Skin.
This week we will dress up and dance an historical american dance: The Charleston. We will also dance to Rock and roll.

Special Events
We will practice our song for our International party, next month. Our song is “El Mariachi Loco.” Please confirm if your child will be participate in this event. More details are coming soon.
Picture Day, March, 13th.
Parent-Teacher Conferences March, 23th-27th
  
Reminders
Please check your child journal every day.
Please take the blankets every Friday and bring clean ones on Monday.
Please also check your child's cubbies, for diapers, wipes and extra clothes.
